One Shepherd

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. **** Whenever I read this passage, I think of the beautiful diversity of all of God’s children. From the outback of Australia to the northernmost parts of Alaska to the savannahs of Africa, mankind has grown and formed families and raised children with the hope that those children would be happy and, in turn, start families of their own. This scripture reminds me that Christ came to this earth and repented for the sins of all humanity so that the way would be paved for each and every person to return to live with our Father in Heaven again. We are all children of the same God, brothers and sisters in Christ.
