Painting is a way I not only capture memories but it is also an opportunity for me to share the beauty I see in the world around me with others.

This all started in 2010 when I renewed my interest and passion for art by teaching myself to oil paint. I needed a way to relax from the stresses of life and so I began to paint. I am self taught, though I love watching other artists paint and I frequently view the works of others. I am inspired by landscapes primarily, especially the mountains and deserts of Utah. I am an avid outdoorsman and enjoy everything from skiing to rock climbing to surfing to backpacking. I also love to travel and explore new parts of the globe and I love to capture memories and experiences in the paintings that I do.
