"Further Light" is Jenna Conlin's tribute to Christian mothers of children who identify as LGBTQ+. It symbolizes the effort, and sometimes struggle, of these mothers to shift their traditional understandings in an effort to better understand both their children and their faith.

"I've seen the tender love, care and effort that these mothers are going through to understand their children and understand their faith better. It takes an enormous amount of courage to realize that the paradigm that you've always lived in maybe wasn't what you thought it was and I love the idea of continuously searching for more light and understanding from God.
Though being a middle-aged woman has never historically been a position of power in society, I see so much power and strength coming from these mothers who are looking out for their kids and trying to understand better."
