I love the faith it took for a Woman that was probably viewed by society as dirty, dangerous, and possibly a sinner to reach out and be healed by our Savior. She knew all she had to do was merely touch him and the hurt her body carried for years would be healed.

I wished to have the Savior subtly but not overwhelmingly notice that something had left him and the expression on his face was of the idea that he could tell something had left him but he was not troubled or angry but rather, I know something good came of this.

I love the idea of Peter protecting the Savior from the Multitude thronging him and illustrated Peter with his Arms outstretched. I loved the idea that others behind him were wishing to be right there next to the Savior and are peering over Peters protective arms including his Mary Madeline with a joyous gaze at the incident and John the Beloved overlooking Peters Arms with compassion towards this woman.

Another woman disciple is peering out with wonder and joy. She is welcoming the viewer in. The Woman at this instant knows she will be forever changed from her issue of blood. Her Faith made her whole by merely touching, or grasping in my interpretation the garment of the King of Kings.
