Minerva Teichert Original Art Show - Sagebrush in Her Soul

Step into the pioneer experience of Minerva Teichert with "Sage Brush in Her Soul." This exclusive exposition and sale features 17 never-before-seen original paintings and drawings from the iconic artist. The collection, long held by a family descendant, includes some of her earliest and most formative work.

This collection highlights Teichert’s incredibly refined style, the outcome of a sophisticated cosmopolitan art education and it’s junction with her passion for the enthralling nature of expansive pioneer West. “There’s too much sagebrush in my blood to forget the beauties of rugged mountains [and] dry plains,” she said.

Only by a family’s stewardship could such a diverse and significant collection of Minerva’s artworks have been kept intact. Bertha “Biddy” Beasley (the miniature portrait below) is the mother of Jon Steven Beasley, the owner of the collection prior to his passing that you see here. Biddy was the daughter of Martin and Agnes Driscoll.
