On a calm evening, Jesus and his disciples embarked on a small boat, eager to cross the serene waters of the Sea of Galilee. As they journeyed, a sudden storm brewed, the sky darkening and waves crashing against their vessel. Fear gripped the hearts of the disciples, who frantically searched for a way to save themselves. Yet, amidst the chaos, Jesus remained undisturbed, asleep in the stern. When they finally awakened Him, they cried out for help. Rising, He looked at the turbulent waters and commanded, “Peace! Be still!” Instantly, the winds ceased, and the sea became tranquil. In awe, the disciples marveled at His power, realizing that even nature obeyed Him. This miraculous moment not only deepened their faith but also taught them the importance of trust in times of turmoil. Jesus’ calm presence in the face of adversity became a lasting lesson for His followers throughout their journeys ahead.

About the Artist
Spencer began his painting career at the age of three. He attended Viewmont High School in Bountiful, UT where he thrived in the classes that let him use his creativity. He has since developed his talent through schooling at Salt Lake Community College, and later in classes taught by renowned Christian artist Liz Lemon Swindle and inspirational artist Sheri Doty.
Spencer paints with oil, acrylic and draws with colored pencil, with his desire being to draw subject matter that is close to his heart; his faith.
His artwork is currently being sold in galleries in the United States and distributed worldwide. His hope for the years to come is to share his love for the Savior throughout the world with his artwork. He is married to a very loving caring and supportive wife, and has a son that is loving and energetic.
