Wissali (Influencer): “We almost lost my daughter last year. She was gone for 6 minutes - she had cardiac arrest and was gone for 6 minutes. In those 6 minutes. I believe she had a meeting with Jesus. It was such a miracle, and also an emotional, beautiful, sacred experience. When Havenlight Art said “we want to do something with you”, I knew exactly what it was about [the painting] because it is a message of Christ. When I heard your story [Lovetta’s] I was like, that's it.”
Lovetta (Artist): “I'm an artist because of my babies, I really feel close to them when I paint. My first baby, we knew he was sick. We knew he wasn't going to live. So when he was born, we didn't do any kind of medical intervention and he passed away within a few hours. And then when my second baby, he had the same thing. We'd thought ‘oh, it'll probably be the same result’ but it wasn't. I don't know, you kind of think it's like you live or you die, but there's actually a lot in between. It's hard to explain to people, like, the feeling behind all of this, but I think you get it. It's, you know, it's beautiful, it's sacred, but it's hard. It's like all of the different emotions at once.
“Jesus is life! With Him, we can find peace and joy. This painting is full of symbols of love and life. The waterfall for transformation, cleansing, and unstoppable energy. The butterfly for rebirth, freedom, and hope in the resurrection. The lily flower for purity, new beginnings, and the resurrection. The weeping willow tree for resilience after grief. The blue birds for hope, rising above our difficulties, and gaining a broader perspective. The lioness for strength, courage, and nurturing protection. The oak tree for the tree of life, strength, and faith. The lamb for innocence and humility.”
