On the day I took photos for reference, I was with my daughter and her fiancé as they had their wedding photos taken. I was enamored with the beauty that was around me and knew that I had to do some paintings from that day. The title “Just the Beginning” represents the life they were starting together. The path in the painting can represent any new beginning in a beautiful life.

For over 20 years, Cortney Lunt has been a full time mom and a part time artist. Family has always been her main priority, and continues to be so, but she is finding more time for her art as her family is growing up. Art, family, and spirituality have always been interconnected for her. She loves to paint anything that brings joy.
