You’re a Keeper shares the story of two brothers learning to fish. The older brother proudly holds a new rod and reel with a fully stocked tacklebox at his feet. It is doubtful he will catch anything, for his line is slack and knotted. His younger brother is fishing with the basics—a cane pole and bread ball. He is awarded a bouncing bobber with a bite and quickly learns that it’s no longer fishing when you have a bite!
I love to share a good fishing story, and this one sends the imagination beyond the excitement of getting the catch in the keeper bucket. The catch, of course, emanates from the hearts and souls of the young anglers, who are the real Keepers
