11.75 X 7 Watercolor on Paper Sharing our light changes lives. It strengthens hope. It gives comfort. I can think of so many times in my own life where someone has given their light to me, and every time that light has brought me renewed energy and happiness just when I needed it. You are light! You have light to share! Your light can be an answer to someone else’s earnest prayers! Your light was meant to shine, not be hidden away. . Forget about what the world thinks, because quite frankly the world doesn’t want anyone to be or feel happy, successful, accomplished, or enough… We aren’t here to meet the standards of the world, we’re here to rise above it. We’re here to cheer each other on along the way. We’re here to become a better version of ourselves and we can’t do that if we are always hiding the light we’ve uniquely been given. Original artwork of Watercolor on Paper 11.75” x 7”. Painted 2023. Framed at 19.75" x 16".
About the Artist
About the Artist
Kate Lee's art is a heartfelt showcase of her love for her family and her faith, brought to life
through her watercolors. From the time she was young, Kate had a knack for drawing, even
when it meant getting in trouble for not paying attention in class. Her art evolved over time,
moving from simple cartoons to the rich layers of watercolor painting, as she searched for a way
to more accurately express what she was feeling inside. Kate balances her life as an artist with
being a mom and wife, and she still finds time for her love of mountain biking.
