I am drawn to the juxtaposition of complexity and peace that I find in nature. The tree branches are chaotic: all different sizes and facing every direction. The river flows quickly in splashing eddies, but then pools in other places. Peace like a river is not necessarily stillness or stagnation. Rather, it is steady, flowing, and always evolving.
