The Labored Trek

Here is a simple scene with Mary and Joseph pregnant on a long journey traveling to Jerusalem. I am sure that this trek was much more time consuming and difficult considering their circumstances.

This is an early morning scene of Mary and Joseph on their travels to Jerusalem. Mary is in blue and on and donkey while Joseph is walking beside her. They are in a canyon and all in shadow. The cliff wall behind them is illuminated with warm bright sunlight. They are relatively small in frame to show the big cliffs they are journeying through. There are two palm trees to the left of the frame, the near the FG and the other in the BG. There is also another cluster of palm trees and plants in the foreground on the right side of the frame. The sky is blue and the rocks and cliffs in shadow are blue. There is some nice warm bounced light in the shadow of the rocky cliffs that adds interest.
