Teach Me

The parents are watching over the children while keeping them in the ‘light.’ The sheep in the background are a reminder that little children, like sheep, follow the examples of the adults who influence their lives.

The little girl who posed as a model for this painting has Cerebral Palsy. She cannot walk on her own, yet she is rejoicing in the opportunity to have her father help her through the field. If only we could be like this child, and joyfully receive the assistance of others and our Heavenly parents. Then we could see how children teach us priceless lessons when we endeavor to teach them.

“And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.” -2 Nephi 25:26
