My wife conveyed a story to me that brought this image to my mind. My wife was at a time in her life where everything seemed to be overwhelming. Weighed down by the burdens she carried, she started to try and visualize the Savior. In this visualization, she imagined him coming to her, putting a comforting arm around her, and letting her weep on his shoulder. While they did not speak, the message was clear: despite my wife’s imperfections and inadequacies the savior was extending his arms of mercy to her. She wept as she felt the strength and kindness of those arms. She felt not only could she forgive herself, but she could move forward knowing that his arms of mercy were always extended to her.

In this image, I wanted to depict the love and mercy she felt and help others recognize those arms are extended to all. However, we can only feel the comfort of them when we choose to enter them.

Beautiful reminder

I saw this image on a reel and instantly sought out to have the image as a print in my room. It's across the room so I can see it from my bed. My salt lamp illuminates it at night- a perfect reminder im not truly alone when I wake up with fear or anxiety about my situation right now. It's the same wall that's right across the door. So it's the first thing I see when I walk in my room. It's such a beautiful reminder that, even as an adult, Jesus welcomes me with open arms to be my comfort no matter what the world tries throwing at me.

Exquisite

I purchased a small version of this print to give to a friend who had recently lost her father. I thought the image captured the emotions of the situation perfectly, knowing that we will embrace our loved ones once again and that the Savior holds us in his arms. Thank you so much!
